Job Search Tip of the Week #77: Multipronged Approach to Finding a Job!

Good Afternoon!

Can you believe that it is already 08/08/11…where is the year going/gone?  As you gear up for the close of summer and look towards fall, make sure that you are using a multipronged approach to your job search.

Tip of the Week: Multipronged Approach to Finding a Job!

Find a recruiter that has great relationships or is established as a vendor of choice with the company you would like to work for.  The important part is to make sure that this person has existing relationships within the organization.  Companies are still being very careful about where there recruiting dollars are spent so if they work with recruiters it will only be with the ones they have existing relationships with.

Network!  Join Linked and spend time building your network.  99% of employers and recruiters use linked in as a resource when looking for candidates.  Ask your friends to recommend you on the site so that when employers look at your profile they can see how great you are.  Get out from behind your desk and let people see you face to face!

Learn how to communicate your value.  You may think that you are doing it but we can ensure you are communicating your full value in a way that employers get it.  We have been teaching candidates how to do this for the last 14 years and our clients GET HIRED!!

A multipronged approach is that best way of landing a new job, don’t try to do it by yourself let Articulate U help you GET HIRED!

Have a great day and even better week,
